I expect so. What would stop you?

I'm here to help you with any questions you may have regarding filing your 1099-NECs in QuickBooks Online (QBO), ifeacho.

As long as you have Contractor payments or Payroll subscriptions, you should be able to prepare and file your 1099s.

If you're having trouble e-filing your 1099-NEC, I'd like to know if you encounter runtime errors. In the meantime, I suggest performing some basic troubleshooting steps to isolate your concern. Let's begin by using a private browsing window when e-filing 1099s. Here are the keyboard shortcuts for different browsers:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Sh

If it's successful, return to your regular browser and clear your browser's history to start afresh. If not, you can also utilize a different supported browser because the one you're currently using may have a temporary malfunction.

To learn why certain contractor payments shouldn't be included on the 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC forms, read this article:  Understand which payments are excluded from a 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC.

I'm only a few clicks away if you need assistance with other payroll-related activities. I'm available around the cock to help you out again. Keep safe.
