Can I fix the email content when sending estimates to clients.?

When we are sending estimates/proposals the content of the email shows "Balance Due" no $$ and the "Invoice" button is also present.  My client does not like this being in the email, as it could appear the client is already being invoiced, and they think it is to forward. They are afraid this will turn clients away from accepting the estimate/proposal (which by the way is attached as a PDF)

We don't want you to have this kind of experience. Let me share some updates about sending estimates in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @bill180.

Please know that we have an ongoing investigation (INV-100722) for the issue you mentioned. When a customer views an estimate, it shows View Invoice instead.

We appreciate your patience. Rest assured, our product engineers are working diligently to resolve this. Your assistance is our top priority.

If you haven't already, you can reach out to our QuickBooks Online Support Team so that you'll be added to the list of affected users:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click the Help (?) icon.
  3. Select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
  • Start a chat with a support expert.
  • Get a callback from the next available expert.

Additionally, I've added an article that'll help you personalize the appearance and layout of sales forms so you can add the info that matters most to your business: Customize Invoices, Estimates, and Sales Receipts.

If you have further questions or need assistance managing your Estimates in QBO, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'll be here to help you out.
