Can i get a refund from my hacked etsy account?

In 2023 I had 2 Etsy shops.  They were both hacked and I was able to close one but the other is still contacting me.  I tried contacting Etsy but they never tried to solve the problem.  Now I have an Intuit bill (deferred) for $2198.26 through Paypal. First of all, how did the Intuit bill get so big?  That would be 183.18 per month.  Secondly it is billed through "Intuit Omniwise Industry".  I cannot find this online at all.  Is this a bogus company?  Thirdly, since I cannot access these accounts, can I get refunded for this money?  The 2 accounts were under Masterworkarts.com and Faeriedustonline.com.  I have transferred Faeriedustonline.com to a different platform (not Etsy) as I didn't want to lose my loyal customers.  What can we do about this?

Ensuring data and account security has never been more important nowadays, Christine. Let me provide some additional details regarding your concern about subscription-related charges.

Please note that the standard rate for our top plan is only $200 a month. This is notably less than what's charged to your PayPal account.

You can use the Charge Look-up Tool to review or check legitimate charges related to Intuit or QuickBooks subscriptions. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Go to this link: https://accounts.intuit.com/app/oicl
  2. Type in the payment method that was used, the exact amount, and the date of the charge.
  3. Click Look up charge.

Additional details about checking subscription-related information are also discussed in these articles:

Aside from that, I would also recommend reaching out to our phone or chat support teams. They'll be able to verify your account and check your billing history as well.

Here's how to reach out to them:

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right-hand corner of QBO.
  2. Proceed to the Assistant tab.
  3. Type in "contact support" in the chat box and press Enter.
  4. Select QuickBooks Online Support, then click Contact Us at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Click Ask about something else, then enter a short description of your concern.
  6. Choose between Have us call you or Chat.

However, you'll need to work with Etsy if you're referring to retrieving your access to your Etsy accounts.

Allow me to share these resources below about protecting your data and recognizing potential fraud to help you stay safe and informed:

Please feel free to tap on us anytime you need assistance with importing or categorizing sales in QBO. The QuickBooks Team and other members of the forum are available around the clock to help get you set up correctly when syncing data from the new platform.
