I'm glad you can join us here in the Community, johncanella. By utilizing QBO's reporting functionality to the fullest, you can gain valuable insights into your finances.

Yes, there is absolutely a way to generate a report showing invoice details alongside any received payments applied to those invoices in QuickBooks Online.

The "Invoices and Received Payments" report will provide the overview you need of invoices and their related payment transactions.

I can walk through running this report to get that paired invoice and payment data:

  1. Go to Reports on the left menu bar and type in the name of the report in the Search bar.
  2. By default, this will show all invoice and payment activity. You can filter the date range as needed.
  3. Click Customize in the upper-right-hand corner to filter the report to a specific customer.
  4. Scroll down to the Filter section and check the box for Customer. Then, click the drop-down list and select the name of the customer.
  5. Click Run report.

Finally, click Print  to save or print a copy showing the invoice and payment pairings.

In addition, I also wanted to share some supplemental QuickBooks Online articles that offer more information on running and customizing reports:

Feel free to browse those resources for extra tips on modifying report criteria, changing layouts, exporting results, scheduling automatic delivery, and more reporting best practices.
