Can I put several recurring invoices in a group so that I can create multiple invoices on the same date, then go back and edit as needed prior to actually issuing them?

Hi there, @chad59.

It isn't possible to group recurring transactions to create multiple invoices on the same date in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

With this, you'll need to create recurring transactions individually and ensure that they have the same template.

Here's how to create a recurring invoice:

  1. Go to the Gear icon in the upper right corner.
  2. Choose Recurring transactions in the Lists column.
  3. Select New and pick the type of transaction to create.
  4. Click OK and enter Template name.
  5. Select a Type: Scheduled, Reminder, or Unscheduled.

For more details, check out this article: Create recurring transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Please note that recurring transactions are created on the day scheduled between 12:00 am and 5:00 am, depending on your time zone. From time to time, depending on volume, it may be generated a little later. To avoid any issues, any transaction scheduled for the day it's created or prior will not occur until the next appropriate date based on the schedule.

Moreover, I've included an article for future reference if you need to access the list of your customers' unpaid balances: Run an accounts receivable aging report.
