Can I have an independent contractors payment be direct deposited into 2 accounts?

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! 

 

As of right now, there isn't a way to add two different accounts to your contractor's profile to pay direct deposit to both of them. However, you could try to add a new contractor profile with a similar but different name, and add the other bank account that way. Review this guide for more details: Set up and manage direct deposit for contractors

 

I recommend submitting your feedback to our Product Developers so they can consider this in the near future. Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to the Gear (Settings) icon in the top right-hand corner. 
  2. Select the Feedback option. 
  3. Enter your suggestions. 
  4. Press Next to submit your suggestions.

You can use a free billing management app and partial payment feature as a workaround to split payments across more than one bank account for the same contractor. You don't need to know their account and routing numbers.
