Hello there, @Dena 10. Thank you for taking the time to post in the Community.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can set a Standard user with limited access in which they won't be able to view all reports. This user can only access A/R and A/P reports and needs customer access in their roles so they can create invoices.

Yes, if you're an admin user, you can restrict or limit access to your customers by using various access control mechanisms. This can be done through the use of permissions and settings within your customer management system or software. By configuring the appropriate access controls, you can control who can view, edit, or interact with customer information and accounts. It can help ensure the security and privacy of your customers' data and prevent unauthorized access.

For the second question, you should coordinate with the primary admin to have his access checked, ensuring that he has permission on the customer side.

To add a standard user, here's what you'll need to do:

  1. Click the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Under YOUR COMPANY, select Manage Users
  3. Go to the Users tab and tap Add User.
  4. Pick Standard user and hit Next,
  5. Choose Limited and put a checkmark on Customers, then Next.
  6. Set the user's settings, then select Next.
  7. Enter the new user's profile.
  8. Hit Save.
