Question

Can I print a register in the Chart of Accounts? For example, a bank register or credit card register.

Printing the registers will make it easier for me to reconcile bank and credit card statements.  I like to have a hard copy rather than looking at them on the computer.

Welcome to the Community, @BC421.

I'd be glad to guide you in printing a register in your Chart of Accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To start, you can click on the View register for your specific bank or credit card to print the transactions within that register.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear Icon, and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Find the bank or credit card register.
  3. Click the View register.
  4. Beside the Export to Excel, click the Print list.
  5. Edit the DestinationPagesCopiesetc.
  6. Click Print.

For future reference, you can check this article to guide you in matching your bank and credit card statements: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

Please feel free to leave a comment below, if you have further questions about printing or other QBO-related concerns. I'll be here to assist you.

I replied to your message a few days ago; perhaps you didn't get it.  I understand all of your directions except the Export to Excel.  I do not see Export to Excel anywhere on the web page.  Is there something else I need to do to see it?

Thank you,

Betty

Thank you for responding, @BC421.

I'd like to chime in and offer more details on how to print your register.

The "Export to Excel" my colleague mentioned is represented by an icon. Next to it, you'll find a printer icon that you can click to print your list. Please refer to the screenshot below for visual guidance.
