Can I upload a statement for a bank and have the transactions be copied from the statement?

Not all of my transactions from my bank account crossed over to quickbooks. How can I transfer them without having to manually add each one?

You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.

Yes, you can, @ag113. Allow me to guide you on uploading your bank statement in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

First, download a CSV file of your transactions from your bank. To do that, sign in to your bank's website and follow your bank's instructions.

Once done, review the file format and size. Then, refer to these steps on how to upload the transactions:

  1. Go to Transactions and select Bank Transactions.
  2. Select the blue tile for your bank account.
  3. Click the Link account dropdown, then Upload from file.
  4. Upload your bank statement, then Continue.
  5. Select the QuickBooks Accounts and click Continue.
  6. Set up the format and map the fields. Select Continue.
  7. Choose the transactions to import, then Continue.
  8. Select Yes and click Done.

For more information, please see this article: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Moreover, it's recommended to reconcile your accounts monthly to ensure they correspond to your bank statement.
