Do you need to reimburse them as business expenses to your personal account?

Yes. You can upload receipts from purchases you made. I'll guide you through the entire process.

  1. Go to the Transactions menu.
  2. Click the Receipts tab.
  3. Select Upload from computer or Upload from Google Drive.
  4. Then, upload the receipt for the purchase you made for the business before having a business checking account.

After completing the task, you have the option to organize the receipt based on your preferred categories. Make sure you have selected the correct category and entered accurate information to reflect data in QuickBooks.

  1. On the Receipts page, go to the For Review section.
  2. Find and select the receipt you've uploaded and need to review.
  3. Select bank/credit account, date, location, and document type.
  4. Enter the amount, reference number, memo, and description.
  5. Choose the appropriate category. If you're unsure, ask your accountant for help. They can guide you on the best way to handle your receipts in QuickBooks.
  6. Once done, click Save and close.
