Can invoice descriptions be included in invoicing reports? Right now the memo/description field is only pulling in statement descriptions for some reason.

Greetings, @avery3.

 

It'll depend on the type of report you're opening. For example, if you run the Sales by Customer Detail report, it'll show each line item from the invoice. Thus, it shows the Description of the line item on the Memo/Description column.

 

However, if you run the Transaction List by Customer report, it'll show each transaction without the details of the line items. Thus, it shows the message from the invoice as Memo/Description.

Thanks for the reply, @JasroV. Regardless of what list I pull (invoice list, transaction list by customer), the memo/description field is only pulling in data from statement descriptions. I need to reference the information filed in invoice descriptions.

 

See attachment for a screenshot of the invoice description and statement description boxes on an invoice. The reports I pull are only showing the information entered into the statement description, so in this case, "voided" and not the campaign information entered into the invoice description box. 

 

Is there a way to pull information from the invoice description box into a report? I need to compile a list of all invoices from a certain date range with the information added to the invoice description box for each.
