Two bank accounts show as deleted but show up on financial statements.  I want them deleted completely and not show on any reports.  Directions are not working.

I'd be glad to share some instructions on removing old bank accounts in your financial statements, Kathy.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), inactive or deleted accounts still appear in your financial reports because of the transactions posted to the account while it was active. You can either temporarily or permanently remove them from your reports.

Here are the steps to temporarily remove deleted accounts:

  1. Select Customize at the top left on the financial report you're working on.
  2. Scroll down to Rows/Columns, then set Show non-zero or active only to Non-zero.
  3. Tap Run report.

Moreover, you'll need to make the accounts active first, then merge, move, or delete them to remove them from your reports. For detailed instructions, visit this article: Remove deleted accounts from reports in QuickBooks Online.

You can customize and memorize your reports to personalize the data and save their configuration settings in the future.

I can provide any necessary information if you need assistance managing your financial statements in QuickBooks. Kindly utilize the comment section for your inquiries. Have a good one.
