to be more specific I mean to connect the inventory you add when you create a product, and once it is synced with Shopify I do not want the inventory to go directly to available in Shopify because we still have not received it, so I'll need that goes directly to Unavailable so once we received we will manually set it up.

I appreciate you taking the time to come by here in the Community forum. I've got a few pieces of information for you about how QuickBooks Online and Shopify integration works.

when it comes to integrating Shopify, QuickBooks Online (QBO), doesn't have the option for the inventory to go directly to unavailable status in Shopify. With this, I'd recommend contacting their technical support to see if they can set up that option when syncing inventory products. You may refer to this article for more information and go to the FAQs section: How Shopify works with QuickBooks Online

With this, you can consider looking for a supported third-party application that enables you to track your inventory from both parties. Since we're unable to specify an application that can help you accomplish your task, here's how to search for a third-party app in QBO:

  1. Go to Apps and select Find Apps.
  2. Search for a keyword in the search bar and press Enter.
  3. Select an app and click Get app now to integrate.

To learn more about Shopify and QuickBooks integration, I'd recommend checking out this article's Frequently asked questions section: QuickBooks & Shopify Better together. It provides answers to questions like how Shopify sales are imported and tracking inventory to name a few.
