Hello there, Vanessa. I see you want to include Customer ID in your invoices. I've got steps here you can follow to achieve this.
There is no option to add a customer ID in QuickBooks Online currently. You could either enter it in on the other box in the customer details section or create a custom field box and enter it in there each time manually on the invoice if you need to see it on the invoice.
Here's how you can enter it in the other box:
Go to Sales, then select Customers.
Choose the customer you want to update.
Pick the Customer Details tab.
Select Edit.
Navigate to the other box in the customer details section and type the customer ID.
Click Save.
To create a custom field box:
Open an existing form or create a new one.
Select the Gear icon at the top of the form (not on the navigation bar). It opens a panel with the Custom Fields section.
To create a custom field, select + Add custom field. Fill out the info about the field, then click Save.
Select the pencil icon next to the field. Or, select Manage Custom Fields to edit an existing field. It opens the Custom Fields page so you can make edits. Once done making changes, close the window to return to the form.
