CAN WE NOT SHOW THE TAX ON CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT JOBS, AND SHOW THE TAX ON REPAIR JOBS?

 Yes, we can @thorntonelec. Thanks for allowing the Community team to help you.

 

In QuickBooks Online, you can run and personalize the Sales by Product/Service Detail report if you need to view and display the tax on repair jobs only. Make sure to add the Taxable columns to achieve it. I'll show you how:

 

  1. In your QuickBooks account, go to Reports, then search Sales by Product/Service Detail.
  2. Click the Customize button.
  3. Filter the date period.
  4. Click the Change column option, then add all Tax/Taxable columns.
  5. Go to the Filter section, then choose a specific item (Repair jobs).
  6. Hit Run report and press the Save customization option.
