Can you edit a invoice with the new invoice design?

I usually don’t know all of the rates when I create invoices. The company that pays me provides the rates at the time of payment. How can I edit my invoices? This was possible with the old invoice template but doesn’t seem available with the new invoices.

I appreciate you sharing your concern with us here, tabbymomma. I've got information to help you modify invoices in the new sales form experience, so you can run your business seamlessly.

When working with your QuickBooks Online tasks, sometimes stored cache files can cause interruptions within the program. As I tried replicating it on my end, the rate column option on the new invoice experience is available. You can perform some troubleshooting steps to help rectify the possibility of a webpage issue. You'll need to access your account in a private browser to ensure the program runs seamlessly without storing cached data. You may use these keyboard shortcuts:

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

If the rate column option is populating successfully, you may go back to your default browser and clear its cache or use a different supported display program.

Furthermore, I've included these references to guide you in customizing and managing your sales forms and transactions:

I'll always be here willing to assist you further. Please let me know in the comments below for any additional queries when managing invoices in your account. Keep safe and have a good one!
