Can you email a W9 form with updated address to customers through QuickBooks?

I can certainly understand how an ability to email W-9 forms could be useful and have submitted a suggestion about it as of today.
 

You can also submit your own feature requests while signed in.
 

Here's how:

 

  1. Use the Gear icon, then go to Feedback.
  2. Enter your suggestion(s) in the Have feedback? window.
  3. If necessary, attach a file with your Camera icon.
  4. Select Next.

The way QuickBooks Payroll works with W-9 forms is an employer or client can use their account to send out an invitation for a person who needs to fill out one, then they can enter their information on it. After they've entered their information, it will be used to produce their 1099-MISC forms.
