Hi there, @Online2021. I'll guide you on how to reclassify your vendor transactions.

In QuickBooks Online, you can reclassify or move a transaction to a different account in two ways. If you're using the Advanced or Accountant version of the program, you can utilize the Reclassify transaction feature. It helps save time to move transactions to similar accounts or change their classes. You may refer to the steps below:

In QuickBooks Online Advanced

  1. Open your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon, then select Reclassify transactions.
  3. In the Account types dropdown menu, select Profit and Loss to see income and expense accounts, or choose the Balance Sheet to see your asset, liability, and equity accounts.
  4. From the Account list, select the account with the transactions you want to change.
  5. Modify the filters to filter the list. You can also select Accrual to see all paid and unpaid transactions or Cash to see only paid transactions.
  6. Select Find Transactions.
  7. Select the checkbox for each transaction you want to change, then click Reclassify.
  8. Select a new account to move the transactions from the Change account to dropdown, a new class from the Change class to dropdown, or a new location from the Change location to dropdown.
  9. Click Apply.

In QuickBooks Online Accountant

  1. Open your client's QuickBooks Online company account.
  2. Select the Accountant Tools, then click Reclassify transactions.
  3. Follow the steps provided above on how to reclassify the transactions.

On the other hand, if you're using other versions of QBO, the Reclassify transaction option is unavailable. However, you can manually change the category or the account of the transactions by opening the transaction and editing it to the correct expense account.

Moreover, you can run a Transaction List by Vendor report to view all transactions made. You can also run and save an expense report by the vendor, which shows all your vendor expenses every month.

We'll be right here if you need anything else or have other concerns about QuickBooks. Have a wonderful day!
