Totally agreed.  Why Cash Flow Hub uses the balance from bank feeds is silly.  It misses all outstanding payments as you mentioned.  But, hey, what's $100K?;-)

I appreciate you sharing your thoughts about the Cash Flow Hub feature in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), Pete. I'll share more details on how this function works and how you can use this option to keep track of all your company recordings.

In QBDT, please know that the expense in the Cash Flow Hub will be recognized once it clears the transaction from the actual bank account. If you want to view the amount of cash that flows to your business and the amount that flows out within a specific period based on the transactions in your register, you can use the Statement of Cash Flows report to achieve this feat. These are the steps:

1. Access your QuickBooks Desktop company.
2. Go to the Reports menu and select Report center.
3. In the Search bar, enter Statement of Cash Flows.
4. Filter the date to show specific data.
5. Click the Refresh button beside the Classify Cash button.
