Change a registry online from liability to expense

Hello there, @Licelotte. We are here to assist you in changing the transaction's category from liability to expense in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

You can modify the exact category in the Bank Transactions to be able to register it. If you have already marked the transaction as categorized, you can undo it before making any changes. Here's how you can undo it:

1. From Transactions, go to Bank Transactions.
2. Click Categorized. 
3. Select the transaction and click Undo from the Action column.

However, if you have not yet categorized the transaction, you can edit it directly in the For Review tab. We'll show you how:

1. In your QuickBooks, click Transactions from the left panel.
2. Go to For Review, then find that transaction, and select Review.
3. Choose the right category for that transaction in the Category, and once done, click Confirm.
