change asset account number
If I change my asset account number on items that were put in wrong, does it change the asset number in the history of that item? or does it keep the old asset account?

When you modify the asset number of an item, it will automatically update its history. It means that the changes made after correcting the account number of an item that was previously incorrect will reflect in all transactions involving that item. As a result, the old asset account will no longer be used.
