How to change my account to selfemployed

I've got the steps in changing your account to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), etee.

First, subscribe to QBSE, then cancel your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account to avoid double charges.

To have a copy of your QBO company information, I recommend exporting your data from QBO to Excel before canceling your subscription.

To Cancel your QBO subscription, refer to the steps below:

  1. Sign in to the Intuit Account Manager.
  2. Select Products & billing, then select your company name. It will take you to your subscription page.
  3. Find the product you wish to cancel and hit Cancel.
  4. There's a multiple choice survey on why you're canceling your subscription. Once you’ve filled it out, select Continue to cancel.
  5. There's a page that outlines the product benefits, along with the last day of subscription usage. Click Continue to cancel.
  6. You’ll see a pop-up confirming your subscription is canceled. Select Got it.

Moreover, check out this link to give you an idea of things you can do in QBSE: Overview of QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Comment below if you have follow-up questions about changing your subscription. I'll be around to assist. Have a nice day!

I would recommend to convert your data to QB Desktop file format and use the trial version to access your data for good. Then you can start from scratch in QBSE.
