The option to mark the invoice as unpaid is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). You can duplicate the paid invoice and then delete it as a workaround. Doing so will create an unpaid copy of the invoice and remove the paid one. Let me guide you how.
- Go to Invoices.
- Look for the paid invoice and click the dropdown under the Action column.
- Select Duplicate, then Save the invoice.
- Navigate to Invoices again.
- Find the paid invoice and select the dropdown under the Action column.
- Click Delete.
