Chart of Accounts Clean up

We are cleaning up after a previous train wreck of a bookkeeper. We are moving to a unified chart of accounts naming convention, and we need to make some accounts inactive. The problem is that they were used previously, so we receive this error: This account is used by a product or service

 

I have all old services marked as inactive as well. What else can I do?

To reach us: 

 

  1. Click the Help icon at the top right corner. 
  2. Hit the Contact Us button. 
  3. Enter "Chart of Accounts not populating" in the box. 
  4. Click Let's talk
  5. Select Start messaging or Get a callback
