Check Detail - QBO vs QBD

I'm unable to replicate a QBD Check Detail Report in QB Online

 

The QB Online report does not include bill lines (GL Accounts). I have attached what the QBD Check Detail Report Includes. 

 

Specifically, I need Check numbers in order and all bill line detail (GL Accounts) associated with the Bill that was paid by that check. See attached QBD Check Detail Report.

 

Crazy that this cannot be easily generated in QBO.

 

So far Bill and Applied Payments does not work - Cannot Sort by Num to get them in order AND it doesn't show all bill line details. It will say SPLIT if it has multiple lines. 

 

Tried multiple transactions lists but just can't get exactly what I need. 

 

WHAT I NEED EXACTLY IS ATTACHED IN QBD CHECK DETAIL REPORT.

I can see how significant it is for you to have the check detail report in QuickBooks Online (QBO) the same as the QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), lork. No worries, allow me to get this into detail.

 

You can use the Check Detail report in QBO. To do this, please follow these steps:

 

  1. From QBO, navigate to the Reports tab on the left panel.
  2. On the drop down menu, search for the Check Detail.
  3. From there, add these:
  • Number column
  • Account number
  • Look for the Account columns to see the Account & the Transaction numbers.

 

Upon doing, make sure to enable your account number first in the Account and Settings then click Advanced. You'll be routed to the Chart of Accounts. From there, the bill can't be seen as related to a bill payment check. If you want to see the related bill from the bill payment check, you can run a Bill and Applied Payments.
