Checking account report

I need to create a report going back from 2018 with only the checking account. I have tried going into chart of accounts, select the checking account, create report and then I export it to Excel. The issue is all the the expenditures including the credit card land on this report. How do I exclude them? And I only need expenses for $1000+. If there's a way to exclude those expenses as well that would be helpful.

Thank you.

Thank you for posting here in Community, Jblu.

If you desire only your checking account to be featured in the report, I can assist you in accessing your Account Quick Report. Just follow the steps provided.

Here's how:

Step 1: Run the Report

  1. Go to the Transactions menu, then choose Chart of Accounts.
  2. Find the name of your account, then click the View register dropdown. Then, press Run report.
  3. From the Report period dropdown, select the date according to your preference.
  4. Under the Accounting method, choose Cash.

Step 2: Customize your report

  1. Within your report, click the Filter.
  2. In the first box, select the Account option. In the second box, click the equals including sub-accounts. Within the third box, choose the Bank/Checking that you need to choose to filter.
  3. To add another filter below, click the +Add filter.
  4. Within the first box, select the Transaction type. In the second box, click Equals. Choose Expense in the last box.
  5. Click again on the +Add filter.
  6. Within the first box, select the Amount option. In the second box, choose the less than or equal option. Enter the amount that needs to be filtered in the last box.
  7. After you fill out the box, press the X button to exit the Filter section.

I've added this article in case you want to run, customize, and save a report: Run reports in QuickBooks Online.
