I accidentally deleted some items that were previously reconciled and now need to re-enter them and mark as reconciled.  My problem is in following the audit trail that QB Online gives me.  There are two line entries for the deleted transactions but no explanation as to which account received the funds from the SBA Loan and which they were transferred

You can see all the information needed under the Event column of the Audit Log page, @allencain.

Follow the steps below to see the details of the deleted transaction:

  1. Go to Gear icon Settings gear icon..
  2. Click Audit Log.
  3. From the Filter ▼ dropdown menu, select the appropriate user, date, and event(s).
  4. Hit Apply.
  5. Locate the deleted transaction.
  6. Select View under the History column.

  7. All the information needed for the transaction can be found under the Event column.

Here is an article for more information about using the Audit Log feature: Use the audit log in QuickBooks Online.

After successfully adding the transaction, you can perform a manual reconciliation in QuickBooks Online, follow these steps:

Here's how:

  1. Login to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to the left side menu and click Transactions.
  3. Select Chart of Accounts.
  4. Look for the account and click View Register.
  5. Find the transaction. Click the box in the checkmark column until you see an "R".
  6. Once done, hit Save.
