Custom report of invoices with blank tags

Good afternoon.

 

Our company does not use tags within invoices.  However, I would like to tag some invoices for a specific reason.  I not only want to report on those invoices with that tag, but I also want to use that tag to eliminate them from a different report.

 

The problem I am having is on the report where I don't want them included.  If I use the filter and select the tags that exist and then deselect the tag I want eliminated, my report comes back blank.  And interestingly enough, if I include the tag filter and say "All", the only invoices that appear in the report are the ones that actually have that tag.

 

Is there not a way to include blank or empty tags in your filter?  It just seems crazy.

There's no way to include blank  or empty tags when filtering report, @LuckyDogAR. I'll route you to our department that accepts customer's suggestions.

 

With this, I encourage you to submit requests to our product developers. Rest assured that they will review and consider it for future updates depending on the number of users' requests.

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under the Profile column, select Feedback.
  3. Share your suggestion, then click Next.
