Why can't a customer pay with American Express?

Welcome to the QuickBooks family, @MT11_2 waldo. I'll share some steps you'd like to share with your customers to help figure out why they're unable to make payments using American Express.

 

Let's start by accessing your QuickBooks account via incognito or private window. This mode doesn't retain cache, so we can verify if it is a webpage issue. Use these keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • For Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N

 

From there, let them process payments. If it works, I recommend clearing their default browser's cache.
