Hi! With the Customer:Job field in Quickbooks Enterprise Solutions Contractor Edition 24.0 Desktop when entering a bill is there a setting that can be adjusted to prompt or remind the user to select a Customer:Job name in that field on the Expense tab before saving the bill and if so where can we find this?

I have seen this prompt appear before, but something has been altered where this prompt no longer appears and we would like to have it to remind employees to enter data in this field.

All assistance much appreciated!

Hello there, @bstepp.

The system will not prompt you to fill out the Customer: Job field when creating a bill. This prompt only shows up when you haven't selected a customer while creating an invoice. Upon checking here, there are no settings you can toggle to activate the prompt.

If you wish to add this feature to the program, I recommend sending direct feedback to our product engineer to add this feature to the program. They handle requests and analyze them for future updates.

  1. Select the Help option.
  2. Select the Send Feedback Online option.
  3. Select the Product Suggestion option. A pop-up window displays.
  4. Enter your feedback suggestion.
  5. Click the Send Feedback button. The feedback is sent.
