The customer may have marked inactive, @userchart0072.
To see this, you can review the Customers list by showing all the active and inactive customers.
Here's how:
- In QuickBooks Online, Select the Sales menu.
- Go to the Customers tab and then click the mini Gear icon.
- Check the Include inactive box.
From there, you'll see a deleted label for inactive customers. You can activate the customer by clicking Make active on the Action column to show them back in the customers' list.
You can reference this article for more insights about how to see inactive customers in QuickBooks Online: Make a customer inactive and then active.
Also, there may be a chance that this is a browser-related issue. To isolate this, you can access your QuickBooks Online account through an incognito browser.
See the keyboard shortcuts below based on the browser that you're using.
- Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift +N
- Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari (latest version): Command + Shift + N
If you see the customers are now visible, it means that you need to clear your browser's cache to offload some data from your browser. This way, your browser would get optimized and get you back into the business.
Also, you can use another supported browser as an alternative.
