Customize columns on an Open Invoices report

My client wants to add a custom column on the open invoices report for one of his customers in QB 2022 desktop. I added a new box to the invoices called LD #. See attached screen shot. 

 

Trying to customize the report in QB and add or create a column for LD # and have the LD number show up on the open invoices report.

I appreciate the screenshot you've provided, @rbell2123. Let me help you figure out why the custom column will not appear in the open invoices reports. 

 

Once you click the customize report and add the LD #, the column and assigned number will appear in the reports. 

 

Let me guide you on how to do it:

 

  1. Hover to Reports, then click Report Center. 
  2. From the right search bar, type in Open Invoices
  3. Click Run, then click Customize Report. 
  4. From the Columns tab, scroll down and look for LD #. 
  5. Once done, click OK. 

 

Now, you'll be able to see the LD # column in your reports.
