Thank you for reaching out to the Community, @Jen11_2, I want to make sure this matter gets addressed right away. Let me share some different scenarios on why data in QuickBooks Online (QBO) are missing.

One possible reason for missing data in QBO is that an authorized user deleted it. To check this, I recommend visiting the Audit log page, where you can see a list of the company's activities, changes made, and who made them. This way, we can confirm who removed the data in your account.

Here's how to access the Audit log page:

    1. Click the Gear icon in the upper right corner.
    2. Select Audit Log.
    3. Select the Filter panel to filter UserDate, or Events and narrow the results.
    4. Hit Apply.

If you have confirmed that the issue isn't due to user activities, it could be that you're using an incorrect company file. To avoid this, please ensure that you're opening the correct company file by checking the name beside the hamburger icon in the upper left corner.

I've included this screenshot for your visual reference; however, the names listed are merely examples and are not actual.

If the issue persists, I recommend logging in to your QuickBooks account using a private browser. This way, you can verify if the cache, full of history and temp files, is causing the unexpected behaviors. Private browsing doesn't store local files or cache.

Use these keyboard shortcuts based on the browser you're using:

  • For Firefox or Microsoft Edge, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.

If the method mentioned earlier works well, you may switch back to your usual browser and then proceed to clear your browsing history. Furthermore, we suggest you try using another supported browser, as the current version of QuickBooks you're using might be experiencing a temporary malfunction.

Nevertheless, you can see what's new with estimates and invoices and create and send estimates in QuickBooks Online.

In the event that you need additional support or have any questions concerning QuickBooks-related concerns apart from estimates, don't hesitate to get in touch with me. I am always here to help and ensure that all of your concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
