Default Credit Card balance

Somehow, our bookkeeper got a balance in Default Credit Cards because of how a credit card payment was posted.  We want to make it go away and know we have to go through the credit card module but don't know how to make it go away?   Any thoughts??   Thx so much.     (This is why I don't use the credit card part)

For me to provide you with the best solution, it would be helpful to know whether your credit card balance is positive or negative. Also, kindly let me know if you entered an opening balance when you set up the credit card. Any additional information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
