Deposit Detail report keeps refreshing back to the top of the report

I am trying to look at the Deposit Detail report for the year. However, when I get part way through the report, it auto refreshes and takes me back to the top of the report. I can't make my way through the entire report because it keeps going back to the top. Is there a way to stop the auto-refresh feature?

I know I could export the report and look at it that way, but I'm actually looking for certain transactions that I forgot to add tags to. I am wanting to be able to go into those transactions and add the tags while viewing the report.

I appreciate you providing details of your concerns regarding the Deposit report going back to the top while viewing your transaction. I got your back to fix this issue as soon as possible.

When accessing the report, let's ensure your internet connection is stable so it won't revert to the top. Sometimes, browsers can become overloaded with frequently accessed page resources such as cache and cookies, causing unusual responses.

To isolate this, you can access your QuickBooks account through a private browsing window to see if it's a browser-related issue. You can use the following shortcut keys to access incognito mode:

  • Safari: Control + Option + P
  • Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

If this works, you can clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result, I recommend switching to a different supported browser.

For future reference, you can memorize reports in QuickBooks Online with their current customization settings.

Keep in touch if you have additional questions about reports in your QBO. I'm always here to help. Have a great day.
