Discrepancy in Site Reporting

Hi every body, good time

When I make two reports (1. by filtering All-Sites, 2. by filtering Multiple-Sites) of Quantity on Hand by Sites for a specific item at the same time; it shows double values for the report using All-Sites. But when I click on each site and drag down, it shows the correct value.

We appreciate your time for posting here in the Community space. Upon reading your post, I see the importance of understanding why the report displays twice the value for the Inventory Quantity on Hand by Site when using All inventory sites. Let me give you insights regarding this concern.


If you have enabled bin location in the Inventory Stock Status by Site report, you might notice that the total column displays twice the quantity on hand. Please note that this is a functioning design. To verify if the Quantity on Hand by Site is accurate, you can follow these steps:

 

  1. In your QuickBooks Desktop, go to Inventory.
  2. Select the Inventory Site filter.
  3. Choose multiple inventory sites, then select all inventory sites.

 

However, if you wish to have feedback about the functioning design of the report, you can send a message to our development team. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Help, then click Send feedback online. 
  2. Click Product Suggestion.
  3. Select the Product area in the dropdown, and put your suggestion in Here is my suggestion box. 
  4. You can enter your name and your e-mail address.
  5. After that, click Send Feedback.
