Question

Do not want window about texting client to appear when creating invoice. Will never send texts to clients and it makes the email window so small I cannot what I'm typing.

I thought it happened when I had a mobile number on the customer information but I just checked a client and it happened and it wasn't listed as a mobile number even! Regardless I do not need to see this option but can't find a way to remove it.

Utilizing your email window without other features included is indeed important, Justin.  

 

Before we begin, please know that the Text Your Customer for Payment feature is a recent addition to QuickBooks Online (QBO). Thus, removing this feature is currently unavailable.

 

For the time being, let's submit your insights to our engineering team so they'll consider adding this feature to their next update. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and thank you for helping us enhance our services.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Select the Gear icon, then choose Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  3. Select Next to submit.

 

To ensure that you won't be able to send a text message to your customer, it's best to turn off the Text your customer for payment or avoid ticking the I have my customer’s permission to send invoices by text checkbox.

 

Additionally, you can track feature requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.
