Do the products from a Purchase Order automatically transfer to inventory when copied to a Bill? Or when the Bill is paid?

I have a Purchase Order that I copied to a Bill and posted the payment. At what point do the products get "placed" into inventory in Products and Services?

Hi there, Robbin.

 

Yes. Once you link or copy a Purchase Order to the Bill, it will automatically go to your inventory, even if it's unpaid. Feel free to read this article for more details: Add purchase orders to expenses, bills, or checks in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
