it could be due to any filters applied that might be limiting the display of customers. Look for settings related to location, customer status (active/inactive), or any other filter options and also do checkout, QuickBooks might default to showing recently accessed customers.

If none of above works, then it could be syncing Issues, do check if you connected external data sources, for proper syncing. Hope this helps,

I'll make sure you'll able to see those missing customers, @starlinkfyi.

There are a few reasons why the customer list may only be showing two customers. It could be due to a filter that limits the display to a specific category, or the missing customers might have been marked as inactive.

To resolve this, you can check the Audit log to see if there have been any recent changes made to your account. If you confirm that some customers have been marked inactive, you can follow these steps to include them in the customer's list:

  1. Navigate to the Customers & Leads option in the main menu.
  2. Select Customers.
  3. Click the Gear icon beside the Export icon.
  4. Check the Include Inactive box, and make sure that no other filters are applied.

Once completed, you can now proceed to reactivate the customer.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Sales in the main menu and select Customers.
  2. Near the header of the ACTION column, select the Gear icon.
  3. Select the Include inactive checkbox.
  4. Find the inactive customer on the list.
  5. In the ACTION column, select Make Active.

If you are unable to find the customers even after following these steps, you can perform some browser troubleshooting to isolate the issue. Start by opening your QuickBooks Online account using incognito mode, which will prevent errors when running websites. Below are the keyboard shortcuts you can use for some popular browsers:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift +N
  • Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari (latest version): Command + Shift + N

If this works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to refresh its background processes. If you still face the same issue, I recommend using another supported browser as it could be that your current browser has a temporary issue with QuickBooks Online.
