Question

Does anyone know why snapped receipts won't upload. Worked 2 days ago.Used troubleshooting tips and reinstalled app. Fails on 2 diff android phones that used to work.Thnx

App for android running on phones less than a year old, Doesn't matter if I crop or not. Process gets stuck at the spinning circle and "uploading documents." 
I have 2 different devices with this app which USED to work as recently as 2 days ago. Cleared caches and data, uninstalled-reinstalled-re-logged in, 
I am able to forward receipts via email, for the time being. It's annoying and extra steps.
What am I doing wrong.

Thanks for completing the initial troubleshooting steps that we'd also suggest from here. At this point, I recommend contacting our QBO Support team as they have extra tools to investigate why your receipts aren't uploading. They're available on weekdays from 6 AM to 6 PM PT.

 

  1. Open your browser and sign in to QBO.
  2. Go to the Gear icon and select the Search tab.
  3. Choose Contact Us at the bottom.
  4. Enter a summary of your concern and click Continue.
  5. Choose Chat or Callback.

Same here been two days and mobile snap receipt upload stalls out at spinny circle. Uninstalled, reinstalled,  cleared cache deleted cookies. Nothing is working.

I can see that you did everything you could to upload snap receipts in your QuickBooks Online mobile app, @Bob12345678912, and I appreciate you for that. 
 

Currently, we have an ongoing investigation about the QuickBooks mobile app Receipt Snap feature not working on Android. This means that other users are also experiencing the same thing on their end. Rest assured, our product engineering team is aware of this and is doing their best to find a fix as soon as possible. In the meantime, you can upload the receipts through a Web browser or iPad. 

 

To ensure that you are added to the list of affected users, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support team. Once added, you will receive email notifications regarding any updates on the progress of the investigation.They can be reached while using QuickBooks. Here's how:
 

  1. Open your browser and sign in to QBO.
  2. Go to the Help icon in the top right-hand corner.
  3. Select Search, then press the Contact Us button.
  4. Enter your question in the box and hit Continue.
  5. Please choose the best way you'll want to reach out to us.


Please consider checking their available hours since they can only accommodate you Mondays to Fridays from 6 AM to 6 PM PT and Saturdays from 6 AM to 3 PM PT.
