Question

Does QBO ever plan to offer the ability to create a custom form style for Purchase Orders like it does for invoices?

This seems like a pretty basic feature, but I've been waiting 5 years for this, and still no real answer to this question.  If there is a reason this won't happen, it would be good to know.  We currently create all our PO's in excel, so we can issue PO's with the look, feel and additional fields required by our vendors.

Hello there, Alan.

I appreciate your interest in customizing the purchase order form However, this is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online. We can only personalize sales forms such as invoices, estimates, and sales receipts.

Please know that there's no specific time frame on when will this feature be available. Thus, I recommend sending this suggestion to our Product Development Team so they can review it and might add this in the future. The more requests this gets, the more likely it'll be part of the enhancements.

Here's how you can send your feedback:

  1. Click the Gear icon and choose Feedback.
  2. Enter your feedback Suggestion.
  3. Press Next.
