I'll share some information on why deposits are on hold, abolton261.

If unexpected happens during your transaction, it may result in a payment hold. Don't worry, nothing is wrong. We only need some extra time to review. Here are some common reasons for holds:

  • When your payment processing exceeds the maximum dollar amount allowed on your account.
  • When a transaction is processed after several failed authorization attempts.
  • When transactions require verification of your business type to ensure compliance with our policy.
  • When our systems detect potentially harmful processing patterns for any parties involved.

I recognize that delays can be inconvenient, but this process is required to protect everyone's interests in the payment process. Since it's on hold, you should receive an email within two business days. Please also check spam or junk folders.

You can contact our QuickBooks Payment Team for further elaboration on this matter. They can access your account and determine the status of your deposit.

To learn more details about this, read the following articles:

Save this resource for future reference: Fix rejected ACH payments or fees in QuickBooks Payments. It contains a list of all error codes and instructions to resolve them.

I'll be right back if you have any other concerns or questions about processing payments. I'm only a post away. Take care.
