Transactions from the bank and the invoices from a third party app are being counted as sales. My revenue is showing double the actual amount. I only need the bank transactions reported in the P&L how can I correct this?

Duplicate revenue happens when both your third-party app and bank download the same transaction, SolarisP.  Here are some tips to manage this issue.

Since the invoices generated from the third-party app are counted as sales, you can match them with the downloaded bank transaction to avoid duplicates.

Here's how:

1. Choose the Bank Transactions section under the Transactions tab.

2. Click the transaction under the For Review to narrow down the details.

3. Press the Match button. It will route you to the Find Other Matches page to let you match the added invoices from your third-party application.

4. Filter the Date, choose the Receive Payments from the Filter By to help the system locate the data in the Select Transaction to Match area.

5. Press the Match button once done.

Since you are using a third-party app for your invoices, make sure to follow the steps above to prevent duplicates moving forward.

Moreover, I'm adding this guide on how to match transactions in QuickBooks Online: Confirm suggested matches for bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Aside from that, you can create a bank rule to help you automatically categorize your transactions. Please refer to this article for the complete instructions: Set up bank rules to categorize online banking transactions in QuickBooks Online.
