Downloaded Mileage Logs

Greetings,

I am currently in the process of downloading my 2024 yearly mileage log and I have noticed that my downloaded excel file contains the field "Starting Address / Ending Address" which contain no data. My customer's names/locations were originally saved as "favorites" that I pull from and utilize every time I make MANUAL entry for my mileage online and with the mobile app. The addresses were originally saved along with the customer's name when they were initially set up as favorites, but does not carry over in the "Starting address / Ending Address" field in the excel spread sheet; nor does the customer's name.

This data is saved in QB online and does appear in my mileage log online as "Starting Point / Ending Point". I have NOT HAD THIS PROBLEM in the previous years but seems to be a problem now in 2024.

Is there any possible way to have the fields "Starting point / Ending Point" downloaded with the mileage spreadsheet or all pertinent fields associated with my manual mileage entries?

Please see attached PDF.

I appreciate you staying on top of your mileage tracking and I know how critical it is to have your mileage logs exported accurately, Tposs. Let's perform the browser trouble shooting steps to address this. I'll be guiding you throughout the process.

Often, browser-related issues like stored cache can affect data export. Follow the steps below to clear them:

  1. Use an Incognito Window: Log in to your QuickBooks account in an incognito window to avoid browser-specific issues.
    - Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
    - Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge: Press Ctrl + Shift + P
    - Safari: Press Command + Shift + N
  2. Clear Cache and Cookies: If accessing QuickBooks through the incognito window works, clear your browser’s cache and cookies. This often resolves loading and formatting issues and enhances browser performance.
  3. Switch Browsers: If the issue persists, use a different supported browser, as your current browser may have a temporary compatibility issue with QuickBooks.

Additionally, let me provide the troubleshooting for the QBO app version:

For iOS:

  1. Go to Settings, then tap General.
  2. Tap iPhone Storage, then tap the QuickBooks Online app.
  3. Tap Offload App. This will free up the storage without deleting your app's documents and data.

For Android:

  1. Go to Menu ☰, then tap More Options ⋮.
  2. Tap Settings, then Refresh Data.
  3. Tap YES to confirm.

After performing the steps, log back into QuickBooks using the incognito window and export your mileage log again. This ensures that no residual data from previous sessions interferes with the export process.
