Hi there, Shalo.
This can happen if the template that you're using for invoices is damaged. You can create a different template and check if the name would revert back to the correct one. Here's how:
- Go to the Lists menu and select Templates.
- Press CTRL + N and choose Invoice.
- Click OK and enter all details that you need for the template.
After that, use the template in sending an invoice to check if the company name is already correct.
Just in case you are still getting the same issue, you can also use the QuickBooks Tool Hub. This resolves some of the most common program and file issues in the program. Here's how:
- Download the most recent version (1.5.0.0) of the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
- Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe). You can look it up in your Downloads folder or in the location you selected when you downloaded it.
- Follow the on-screen steps to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
- Double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub.
- Once opened, look for Program Problems, then select Quick Fix my Program.
- Start QuickBooks Desktop and open your data file.
