I'm here to share insights and help you so you can run your Client Ready Payroll Reports in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT)

Before we proceed, may I know if you have attempted to repair Microsoft Excel or enable macro contents? If not, I suggest trying these steps as they can help identify the issue and allow you to run the Client Ready Payroll report.

Errors encountered when exporting reports to Excel are typically caused by one of the following factors: 

• Incompatible versions of MS Office and QuickBooks
• Damaged MS Office or QuickBooks installations
• Issues with the report or data file itself

Regarding the Client Ready Payroll report after the payroll update. You may want to repair Microsoft Excel or QuickBooks to isolate the issue. For more detailed guidance, you can check out these articles:

Once done, go back to QuickBooks and check if you can already export the report.
