Exporting the notes section from the Items & Service

I am using QB's Premier Plus Edition Desktop and I am trying to export the "Notes" section from the Items & Services tab. Does anyone know how to do this. There is nothing I can find in the help or support sections

Currently, exporting Notes from QuickBooks Premier Plus Edition Desktop is not supported. I am here to assist you in resolving this concern, and let us collaborate to have an effective solution.

 

However, you can export reports, general journal entries, and lists of customers and vendors. As a workaround, you can manually print out item notes in QuickBooks Desktop.  I will be happy to guide you through the process.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Kindly open the item and then select Notes.


     
  2. Once you have completed it, you are ready to Print it out.

 

In the meantime, I recommend submitting feedback to our software engineers. This could encourage them to consider incorporating this feature in future updates.

 

Follow these steps to send feedback:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Choose Send Feedback Online.
  3. Select Product Suggestion. A pop-up window will appear.
  4. Type your suggestion for feedback.
  5. Click the Send Feedback button to submit your feedback.

I have over 400 notes that I need to export along with all of my Items & Services so printing individual notes does not help.  Is there a way to do a data dump of all fields under the Items & Services?

Currently, the option to bulk export your notes and items & services is unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). I recommend submitting feedback requests to our product developers within your account, as this will enable our team to gain a better understanding of your concerns and suggestions, ultimately enhancing your user experience with the program.

 

To provide feedback, follow these steps:

 

  1. Navigate to the Help menu.
  2. Click on Send Feedback Online.
  3. Choose Product Suggestion, and a pop-up window will appear.
  4. Enter your feedback suggestion.
  5. Select the Send Feedback button to submit your input.
