We'll have to customize the Unpaid Bills Detail by the transaction to match with the data you see when you go to the Pay Bills page, asid. I'll gladly show you how to do this below.
Here's how:
- Go to the Reports menu.
- Select Vendors & Payables and then the Unpaid Bills Detail report.
- Click the Customize Report button.
- Set the Dates to All in the Display tab.
- Go to the Filters tab.
- Choose the TransactionType filter and then select Bill.
- Click OK.

After that, compare the total amount in the Pay Bills window to the Unpaid Bills Detail report. They should now match.

Additionally, QuickBooks provides a range of vendor reports that indicate your company's position regarding expenses and accounts payable. To find out which one is suitable for your business, you can refer to this article: Customize vendor reports.
Please feel free to let us know if you have any other reporting concerns or questions about managing bills in QBDT. We'll always be right here to help you anytime.
