filter JEs for vendor or name

I made several journal entries booking HELOC interest expenses and I gave them names of the vendors or payees (banks). 

I can't search them. I can't find them. i can't filter for them. They're still there but they are unobservable. Observability is not great in this system.

To pull up the report please follow these steps:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. On the left pane, go to the Reports menu.
  3. Search for the Transaction List by Vendor report in the search bar.
  4. Select Custom dates, then set the desired reporting date from the Report period.
  5. Under the Filter icon, choose Journal Entry from the Transaction Type drop-down menu, and then add another filter by selecting the vendor's name under Vendor name.
  6. Once done select on Run report.
