Hi, we are looking for finding a accountant from intuit that wont cost a arm and leg. I am not sure where to even start to find this information. We have quickbooks desktop enterprise platinum. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

From what I have seen posted here in the community for the last couple years, you would be MUCH better off using a local accountant.  The Intuit/ QB ones are shady, dishonest and don't follow through with the work they are supposed to do.

Good luck.

Hey angel511,

Thank you for reaching out to the QuickBooks Community! You can certainly look for a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor using the link provided.  When you get to the page, you'll be able to enter your City or Zip code. This will show you all available accounting professionals in your area.

You can then browse through the results and find one that works best for your business by clicking on each ProAdvisor profile to learn more information about them.

If you have any other questions, I'm just a post away. Have a wonderful day!

What responsibilities do you want the accountant to handle?  A/P and/or A/R entries and associated payments?  Record sales?  Reconcile bank statements?  Month-end close?  Adjusting entries?  Payroll?  Inventory?  Financial statement preparation?  Other?  You may not need an accountant, you may just need a bookkeeper.  QB Pro Advisors vary widely from CPAs to basic bookkeepers so it really depends on what you need help with.  If you can provide more info, that would help point you in the right direction.

A/P and/or A/R entries and associated payments. Record sales.  Reconcile bank statements.  Month-end close.  Adjusting entries. I am not sure what else is needed but this is a start.
